Horse Riding

Horse riding classes in Gokarna Forest, Nepal. The horse's name was Kaji. I thought I was controlling Kaji. Kaji knew otherwise. He went where he wanted, at the pace he chose. I was just along for the ride, holding the reins like they meant something.

First time on a horse, on the way to Giza. I didn't know how to steer, didn't know how to stop. The pyramid was right there and I was just trying not to fall. Fear and wonder at the same time. Turns out that's a good way to see something ancient.
